Good news for the first team. On Tuesday 18 Mar. 08 we played Edinburgh1. In order to win the premier division the team needed a draw. Edinburgh moved into the lead early in the match and held the lead until there was only one board left. Walter Burnett had to win to draw the match and, from what looked like a worse position, he did so. This drew the match and so wins the premier league on the narrowest of margins (equal points - decided on difference between games for and against).
